DESCRIPTION:
Welcome to your island oasis! Sol Mate has been meticulously updated with new floors, fresh paint, stylish furnishings, and lush landscaping to create the ultimate luxurious retreat. Located in a prime spot on Anna Maria Island, this home offers the perfect combination of comfort, charm, and convenience for an unforgettable vacation.

Step inside to find an open concept living area with plenty of seating, a TV, and a queen sleeper sofa for extra guests. The fully stocked kitchen is equipped with everything you need to prepare meals at home, and the adjacent dining area provides seating for 6–8. Just off the dining room, a screened-in porch with an outdoor dining table invites you to enjoy your meals while soaking up the tropical breezes. A convenient half bathroom and laundry room with a washer/dryer are also located on the main floor.

Upstairs, you’ll find three beautifully designed bedrooms. The master suite features a king bed, en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a large walk-in closet, and a private screened-in balcony where you can unwind with sunset views. The second bedroom offers a comfortable king bed and TV, while the third bedroom includes two twin beds (convertible to a king upon request), a dresser, and a TV. A hall full bathroom with a tub/shower combination serves the additional bedrooms.

The outdoor space is a true highlight of this home. The heated private pool and spa are surrounded by a landscaped oasis, offering the ultimate spot for relaxation. The outdoor bar with TV, propane grill, and ample seating make it easy to entertain and enjoy the Florida sunshine.

POLICIES:
NO SMOKING.


Pets are welcome with prior approval, provided they meet our pet policy guidelines. We allow a maximum of two pets, each weighing under 65 lbs. A pet fee applies based on the length of your stay: $100 for stays under 4 days, $200 for stays of 4-14 days, and $400 for stays of 15+ days, per pet.

Guest Requirements:
Registered guests must be at least 25 years of age, provide a copy of a valid ID, and be present throughout the entire stay.

Occupancy Limits:
The standard occupancy is two persons per standard bedroom. For additional occupants beyond this limit, a fee of $25 per person, per night, will be charged, up to the maximum allowable occupancy, if applicable.

Quiet Hours:
Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. As this property is located in a residential area, we ask that you respect our neighbors by maintaining a reasonable noise level both during the day and at night. Excessive or unreasonable noise may disrupt the peaceful enjoyment of the neighborhood and is not permitted.

Reservation Policies:
Reservations are typically for 7-night stays, Saturday to Saturday. However, we offer flexible stays with varying minimum night requirements and non-Saturday check-ins and check-outs during most of the year, except for holidays and peak weeks. Please inquire before booking to confirm availability, as changes cannot always be accommodated after booking.

Cleaning and Safety:
All homes, including linens and towels, are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected between guest stays according to industry standards. A starter set of basic amenities, linens, towels, and bedding is provided upon check-in, based on home occupancy. Daily housekeeping and linen services are not included but are available upon request for an additional fee. For stays of 28 days or longer, a mid-stay clean is required and must be scheduled and paid for by the guest.

This home participates in our Professional Linen Program, ensuring high-quality linens and towels are professionally laundered at a commercial facility between each guest's stay. Please note that extra sets are not stored in the home.

Golf Cart Rentals:
Explore the island with ease! After booking, reserve a golf cart through our sister company, Once Upon A Beach Carts, and enjoy an exclusive discount available only to our vacation rental guests.

Baby Equipment Rentals:
Baby equipment is not provided at the home for safety and sanitation purposes. However, we partner with local companies that offer rental services for baby items, including convenient pick-up and drop-off options. Details will be provided at the time of booking, or you may inquire directly for more information.

Pool and Spa (if any):
The pool is heated year-round at no extra charge for guest convenience, with temperatures maintained between 82-85°F to ensure proper chemical balance and cleanliness. Pool heaters and filters do not operate during quiet hours (10:00 PM to 8:00 AM) per local noise ordinances. Please note that cooler ambient temperatures, especially with a 20°F or greater difference between air and water temperatures, may impact the pool heater’s effectiveness.

The spa, if on property, is a section of the pool that can provide relaxation, bubbles, and water temperatures in the high 90s to low 100s. However, it is not designed to function as a commercial hot tub and is not permitted to operate 24/7. Spas may be unavailable during summer months (June–September) to prevent overheating of the pool water, which could compromise chemical balances. Guests are prohibited from adjusting pool equipment; failure to comply may result in fines or liability for damages.

Guests are required to read and follow all posted rules, safety information, and operating instructions.

Property Security and Safety:
This home may be equipped with exterior cameras, such as Ring or Nest, positioned to monitor the front door, driveways, pool equipment, and entry/exit areas of the backyard. These cameras are installed solely to enhance property security, monitor deliveries, and ensure occupancy limits are met. Cameras are not angled toward areas where privacy is expected or assumed.

PAYMENTS:
  • 50% of total amount due must be made at time of reservation request to confirm reservation.
  • 50% of total amount due must be paid on or before 60 days prior to check-in date.
  • Full amount due must be made at time of booking if check in date is within next 60 days.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please review the details of our Cancellation Policy page or Terms & Conditions at booking.  We encourage you to review as OUR POLICIES HAVE CHANGED as of NOVEMBER 18, 2024.

For Reservations of 20 Days or Less:
Cancellations More Than 60 Days Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation more than 60 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund of your full deposit, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee that was originally assessed.
Cancellations 60 Days or Less Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation 60 days or less before your scheduled arrival date, refunds will only be issued for the base rental rate and applicable taxes for nights we are able to rebook, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee.
  • Please note: While we make every effort to rebook the property and issue refunds, we cannot guarantee that the property will be re-rented at the same rate or for the same number of nights originally reserved. For any nights that the property cannot be re-rented, as well as for non-arrivals, late arrivals, early departures, or alterations resulting in a loss of revenue, no refunds or price adjustments will be provided.
For Reservations of 21 Days or More:

  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation between 180 and 90 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund equal to 25% of the base rental rate and applicable taxes, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee.
Cancellations 90 Days or Less Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation 90 days or less before your scheduled arrival date, refunds will only be issued for the base rental rate and applicable taxes for nights we are able to rebook, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee.
  • Please note: While we make every effort to rebook the property and issue refunds, we cannot guarantee that the property will be re-rented at the same rate or for the same number of nights originally reserved. For any nights that the property cannot be re-rented, as well as for non-arrivals, late arrivals, early departures, or alterations resulting in a loss of revenue, no refunds or price adjustments will be provided.
Important Cancellation Policy Information:
  • The Manager is not responsible for providing refunds due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to travel disruptions, guest travel restrictions, changes in work or school schedules, or similar issues. Additionally, conditions such as weather, tropical storms, hurricane threats, environmental factors (e.g., red tide), construction, water quality, or beach conditions cannot be guaranteed.
Submitting a Cancellation Request:
  • All cancellation requests must be initiated by the Registered Guest who booked the reservation.
  • Requests must be submitted either through the website where the booking was made or in writing via email.
  • Cancellation requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or from any party member other than the Registered Guest.
These policies are in place to ensure clear communication and a smooth process for all guests.

Travel Insurance:
  • We continue to offer our U.S. Citizen guests (with the exception of residents of NY and HI) the option of purchasing CSA Travel Insurance directly through us. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase Travel Insurance to protect their vacation investment in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
  • Please note that refunds or credits are not provided for COVID-19-related cancellations, weather, or beach conditions that fall outside of our stated cancellation policy. Additionally, please be aware that hurricane season spans June 1st through November 30th, and Travel Insurance can help safeguard your plans during this period.
In the event the reservation dates fall within a mandatory island evacuation, unforeseen unavailability of the reserved home, the unavailability of a comparable alternative home, or an inability for vacation rentals to operate due to an executive order, the guest will receive a full refund of the base rental rate, applicable fees (excluding the booking administration fee), and all applicable taxes without penalty.

Amazing home!
Sole Mate was the perfect home for us to rent and visit Anna Maria Island. This is our second time booking with Once Upon a Beach and this visit was just as perfect as the last. The backyard is absolutely perfect. The pool and spa were amazing, and heated perfectly to still enjoy in December. This area of the island is very quiet and the home is a very close walk to the beach. The home is super clean and the kitchen has everything you would need to cook. The screened in porches were very enjoyable. We can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Our family of 5 loved this house! Beach access is only steps away and onto the nicest part of AMI beaches. The master suite is amazing and we loved all of the outdoor eating and lounging space. Overall a great stay & highly recommend.

The house was perfect, it was beautifully decorated and every detail was thought of. Our family loved the heated pool and hot tub, it feels like your own private oasis. There is a path out the back gate that leads right to the beach and the location is on the quietest part of the island. Easy walk to Rod N Reel Restaurant and the new Anna Maria pier. We can't wait to return!

For starters, I'm extremely impressed with the level of care and service Mike and Nikki provided us during our stay. As we were checking in, Nikki stopped by to ensure the house was ready for our arrival and that we were happy with the condition of the home. A few days into our visit, we had a small issue that Mike resolved within a few minutes of contacting him. He followed up with us the next day to let us know about the long term fix so that other guests would not encounter the issue going forward. As for the home, it was perfect for our family of four. While we didn't spend much time inside, the beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us to relax and stretch out. The backyard pool area has a tropical feel with plenty of furniture around the pool and a cool bar area with a TV. Our girls loved swimming while my wife and I enjoyed the hot tub. The best beach on Anna Maria is a 3-4 minute walk from the house. It wasn't too crowded even during the busiest week of spring break. Nice touch having beach gear (wagon, chairs, umbrella, towels) available for guests to use. When we come back to the island, we will be booking again with Mike and Nikki - hopefully it is sooner rather than later!

We just returned from a week stay at Sol Mate and would have stayed longer if we had the chance. We truly enjoyed the screened in porches, perfect for dining without concern for mosquitos and for relaxing at the end of the day- you can even peep a small slice of the gulf from the upper porch which was an added bonus! The beds/linens were very comfortable, the house was clean and the beautifully landscaped pool area with spa and bar/tv was perfect for our family. It is always so nice to have a beach cart, beach umbrellas and chairs available to use, thank you for providing these things! We visit AMI 2x/year and are already looking forward to a return visit to Sol Mate! Thank you to Brittany for helping us with an item we left behind- we really appreciate the amazing customer service!

Very happy with Sol Mate. It was the perfect spot for my family and I while on the Island. We were there for 5 nights. Beach access was super close and the pool was amazing! There were no negative comments or hidden issues found, by my party and I, there during our stay. Local fare was not far away. My wife and I enjoyed walking in the morning to nearby coffee shops (only 3/4 of a mile), and the Rod and Reel Peir was a short walk also. We will definitely look at staying at Sol Mate again, when we come back to Anna Maria!!

My wife and myself are clean freaks and very particular where we stay. This house was spotless from top to bottom. The location is perfect! Walk to the beach in 3 minutes. Restaurants and attractions are close as well. The neighborhood is super quiet. The heated pool and hot tub makes this house even more attractive. For people like us who own a business and need remote access to our office, the Wi-Fi is super fast even with movies streaming. We cannot say enough about this house and location and will return again.

Our family had an amazing time at this home after a well deserved vacation from part one of our vacation in the Disney area;) it was spacious and so close to the amazing beach using the access to the beach path from the backyard gate. Anna Maria is simply breathtaking and with so many cute restaurants and ice cream places nearby it was hard to pack up and go back north. Couldn’t have asked for a better ending to our vacation for our family, including our beloved pups. Thank you!
