DESCRIPTION:
Slip away to Holmes Beach and book your next getaway at Mango Bay. This home sits on a quiet street and is just a short distance to both the Gulf-side beaches and Bay-side boating activities. It has a private heated pool and spa, custom furnishings, and so much more. Mango Bay is just what you need to relax on vacation, offering a cozy and comfortable luxury home that will have you extending your getaway after just one day. 

Recently remodeled inside, Mango Bay boasts completely new decor throughout, kitchen cabinets, countertops, flooring, bedding, and more. On the second level you will find an open concept living, kitchen, dining area with lots of light from the wall of sliding doors. The kitchen and dining has dining table as well as kitchen island seating. The main living room has a smart TV and two couches including sleeper sofa. Just off the living room is a gourmet kitchen with granite counters, ample storage inside custom cabinets, and a full set of high end appliances to make preparing meals easy and breezy. There is additionally access to a screened in porch balcony overlooking pool area off the living and dining area.

There is a secondary wet bar off kitchen with half bath. On the main living floor there are two bedrooms each with a king bedroom and share a spacious full bath with walk in shower. Upstairs you will find a very spacious master suite with king bed and its own private screened porch and balcony overlooking pool area with a full en-suite bathroom with soaking tub and walk in shower.  Additionally upstairs you will find the fourth king bedroom with full en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower.  There is then another small 'bunk cubby' with custom built twin bunk beds, perfect for children or teenagers!

Multiple screened-in balconies invite you to sit back, relax, and enjoy the view. There is even an elevator for easy access between each floor. Mango Bay’s exterior is welcoming and inviting. In the backyard, you will find a custom pool with a spa and built-in table. There is a gas grill, bar, sun loungers, adirondack chairs, and outdoor dining table and chairs. The pool is surrounded by tropical landscaping, invoking the sense of your own oasis. Stairs lead right from the back porch balcony to the pool for added convenience. Since the pool faces south, you will get plenty of extra sunshine! 

The covered lanai on the ground level is a perfect spot to relax while the kids splash in the pool. With the beach only a five-minute walk away, you can enjoy our Gulf waters whenever you wish! 

The home is just a short distance to the Holmes Beach shops, restaurants, and within easy walking distance to the pristine white sand gulf side beaches of Anna Maria Island.  Or rent a golf cart to easily cruise around the island!

There is parking for 3-4 cars. 

POLICIES:
NO PETS. NO SMOKING.

Registered Guest must provide copy of ID, be at least 25 years of age and be present throughout entire stay.  

Standard occupancy is 2 persons per every standard bedroom, an additional occupant fee of $25 per person/per night will be assessed for each occupant over this up to max occupancy, if applicable.

Quiet Hours 10p-8a. You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.

Reservations are typically taken for 7 night Saturday-Saturday stays. However, we can offer flexible stays with varying minimum night requirements and non-Saturday check-ins/check-outs during most of the year with exception to holidays and peak weeks unless city ordinances prohibit it. Always feel free to ask prior to booking to see if this is a possibility as we may not be able to accommodate changes after booking.

CLEANING AND SAFETY:
All our homes and linens are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected between each guest per industry standards.  A starter set of basic amenities, linens, towels, and bedding are provided at the beginning of your stay per home occupancy. Daily housekeeping or linen services are not included in your stay. 

Additional cleaning and laundry services are available by request mid-stay at additional charge. For stays of 28-days or more, a mid-stay clean will be required to be scheduled and paid by guest at additional cost.

This home participates in our Professional Linen Program. This ensures high quality linens and towels are provided according to the home’s occupancy at the beginning of your stay. These are professionally laundered at a commercial facility between each guest.  Please keep in mind extra sets are not kept in homes. 

GOLF CART RENTALS:
Golf carts are a fun and easy way to get around the island! After booking, reserve one for your stay with our sister company, Once Upon A Beach Carts, for an exclusive discount for our vacation rental guests!

BABY EQUIPMENT RENTALS:
Baby equipment is not available for use at the home for safety and sanitation reasons. We are however partnered with local companies offering rentals of these items including pick-up and drop-off.

POOL & SPA (if any):
The pool is heated year round at no additional cost for the convenience and comfort of our guests. Pool temperatures are set between 82-85 degrees and will not be set higher due to keeping proper chemical balance, clarity, and cleanliness of the pools. Due to strict city noise ordinances pool heaters and filters do not run during the hours of 10p-8a. Please note that cooler ambient temperatures (20 degree difference between water and air temperature) may result in pool heater unable to compensate the difference. We are not responsible for cold spells causing cooler pool temperatures or unexpected failure of equipment. Please note that a residential spa is a section of pool that once turned on provides relaxation, misting bubbles and warmer temperatures in the high 90s - low 100s but are not permitted to remain on 24/7 or will not reach temperatures like that of a commercial hot tub. Spas may not be operational during the months of June - September to avoid high temperatures of pool water which is detrimental to keeping proper pool chemical balances. Guests are required to read and abide by all posted rules, safety and operating information. Under no circumstance is any guest allowed to adjust pool equipment. Failure to abide may result in guests being fined or liable for any damages to equipment.

PROPERTY SECURITY/SAFETY:
Please note this home may be equipped with Ring, Nest or other exterior cameras viewing front door, driveways, pool equipment, and entry/exits of backyard areas only. Cameras are only intended to keep property safe and secure, monitor deliveries, assure occupancy, and are not angled into any areas where guests would assume or expect privacy.

PAYMENTS:
  • 50% of total amount due must be made at time of reservation request to confirm reservation.
  • 50% of total amount due must be paid on or before 60 days prior to check-in date
  • Full amount due must be made at time of booking if check in date is within next 60 days.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please review the details of our Cancellation Policy page or Terms & Conditions at booking.  We encourage you to review as OUR POLICIES HAVE CHANGED as of NOVEMBER 18, 2024.

For Reservations of 20 Days or Less:
Cancellations More Than 60 Days Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation more than 60 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a refund of your full deposit, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee that was originally assessed.
Cancellations 60 Days or Less Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation 60 days or less before your scheduled arrival date, refunds will only be issued for the base rental rate and applicable taxes for nights we are able to rebook, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee.
  • Please note: While we make every effort to rebook the property and issue refunds, we cannot guarantee that the property will be re-rented at the same rate or for the same number of nights originally reserved. For any nights that the property cannot be re-rented, as well as for non-arrivals, late arrivals, early departures, or alterations resulting in a loss of revenue, no refunds or price adjustments will be provided.
For Reservations of 21 Days or More:
Cancellations More Than 180 Days Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation more than 180 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee that was originally assessed.
Cancellations 180 to 90 Days Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation between 180 and 90 days prior to arrival, you will receive a refund equal to 25% of the base rental rate and applicable taxes, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee.
Cancellations 90 Days or Less Before Arrival:
  • If you cancel all or part of your reservation 90 days or less before your scheduled arrival date, refunds will only be issued for the base rental rate and applicable taxes for nights we are able to rebook, minus the non-refundable booking administration (processing) fee.
  • Please note: While we make every effort to rebook the property and issue refunds, we cannot guarantee that the property will be re-rented at the same rate or for the same number of nights originally reserved. For any nights that the property cannot be re-rented, as well as for non-arrivals, late arrivals, early departures, or alterations resulting in a loss of revenue, no refunds or price adjustments will be provided.
Important Cancellation Policy Information:
  • The Manager is not responsible for providing refunds due to circumstances beyond their control, including but not limited to travel disruptions, guest travel restrictions, changes in work or school schedules, or similar issues. Additionally, conditions such as weather, tropical storms, hurricane threats, environmental factors (e.g., red tide), construction, water quality, or beach conditions cannot be guaranteed.
Submitting a Cancellation Request:
  • All cancellation requests must be initiated by the Registered Guest who booked the reservation.
  • Requests must be submitted either through the website where the booking was made or in writing via email.
  • Cancellation requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or from any party member other than the Registered Guest.
These policies are in place to ensure clear communication and a smooth process for all guests.

Travel Insurance:
  • We continue to offer our U.S. Citizen guests (with the exception of residents of NY and HI) the option of purchasing CSA Travel Insurance directly through us. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase Travel Insurance to protect their vacation investment in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.
  • Please note that refunds or credits are not provided for COVID-19-related cancellations, weather, or beach conditions that fall outside of our stated cancellation policy. Additionally, please be aware that hurricane season spans June 1st through November 30th, and Travel Insurance can help safeguard your plans during this period.
In the event the dates of the reservation fall within a date range of a mandatory island evacuation, unforeseen unavailability of the home reserved AND unavailability of a comparable alternative home, or inability for vacation rentals to operate due to executive order, the guest will receive a full refund of all base rental rate, fees, and applicable taxes without penalty.

Mango Bay
Came all the way from Europe and Stayed at Mango Bay in Anna Maria Island. Great house, perfect location, few minute walk from the beach. Great amenities (bikes, pool, table tennis, pool, hot tub, etc.). Stylish decor and lovely feel on the interior. Management was easy and all worked perfectly.

We may have 10 guests, 6 adults and 4 children. If I am reading this correctly, even with having beds for 10 people with the bunk beds, if we have over 8, we need to pay $25 per night for each of the other 2 people? Is that correct?

Thank you for your inquiry, and we're thrilled to hear you're considering another stay with us!

To clarify, our policy allows up to 8 guests as the standard occupancy for the property. While the home does have beds for 10 people, any additional guests beyond the standard occupancy of 8 would incur a fee of $25 per person, per night. However; children 2 and under do not factor into the guest count.

This policy is in place to help cover the additional utilities and wear that come with extra guests, ensuring that everyone enjoys a comfortable stay.

How far of a walk is it in minutes and where is the beach access?

Answer:

It is an 8 minute walk (3 blocks/ .4 mile) to the beach access point located directly down the street (Clark), cross Palm Drive and then Holmes Blvd and beach access is at 72nd Street.
