The spacious living area, bathed in natural light, offers a comfortable space for gathering with loved ones, planning adventures, or simply unwinding in front of the TV. Retreat to the primary bedroom, featuring a king bed and a private ensuite bathroom, while the second bedroom offers a twin bed and ample closet space. One twin-size hotel-quality rollaway bed is also available for additional guests.

POLICIES:
NO PETS. NO SMOKING. *Pets are welcome if renting both units together, but due to the shared pool space and outdoor pets are not allowed if renting just one unit.
Registered Guest must provide copy of ID, be at least 25 years of age and be present throughout entire stay.
Standard occupancy is 2 persons per every standard bedroom, an additional occupant fee of $25 per person/per night will be assessed for each occupant over this up to max occupancy, if applicable.
Quiet Hours 10p-8a. You are vacationing in a residential area. Please be a good neighbor by keeping the noise to a respectful level during the day and night. Excessive and unreasonable noise can deprive neighbors of the peaceful enjoyment of their private property.
Reservations are typically taken for 7-night Saturday-Saturday stays. However, we can offer flexible stays with varying minimum night requirements and non-Saturday check-ins/check-outs during most of the year with exception to holidays and peak weeks unless city ordinances prohibit it. Always feel free to ask prior to booking to see if this is a possibility as we may not be able to accommodate changes after booking.
CLEANING AND SAFETY:
All our homes and linens are cleaned, sanitized, and inspected between each guest per industry standards. A starter set of basic amenities, linens, towels, and bedding are provided at the beginning of your stay per home occupancy. Daily housekeeping or linen services are not included in your stay.
Additional cleaning and laundry services are available by request mid-stay at additional charge. For stays of 28-days or more, a mid-stay clean will be required to be scheduled and paid by guest at additional cost.
This home participates in our Professional Linen Program. This ensures high quality linens and towels are provided according to the home’s occupancy at the beginning of your stay. These are professionally laundered at a commercial facility between each guest. Please keep in mind extra sets are not kept in homes.
GOLF CART RENTALS:
Golf carts are a fun and easy way to get around the island! After booking, reserve one for your stay with our sister company, Once Upon A Beach Carts, for an exclusive discount for our vacation rental guests!
BABY EQUIPMENT RENTALS:
Baby equipment is not available for use at the home for safety and sanitation reasons. We are however partnered with local companies offering rentals of these items including pick-up and drop-off.
POOL & SPA (if any):
The pool is heated year-round at no additional cost for the convenience and comfort of our guests. Pool temperatures are set between 82-85 degrees and will not be set higher due to keeping proper chemical balance, clarity, and cleanliness of the pools. Due to strict city noise ordinances pool heaters and filters do not run during the hours of 10p-8a. Please note that cooler ambient temperatures (20-degree difference between water and air temperature) may result in pool heater unable to compensate the difference. We are not responsible for cold spells causing cooler pool temperatures or unexpected failure of equipment. Please note that a residential spa is a section of pool that once turned on provides relaxation, misting bubbles and warmer temperatures in the high 90s - low 100s but are not permitted to remain on 24/7 or will not reach temperatures like that of a commercial hot tub. Spas may not be operational during the months of June - September to avoid high temperatures of pool water which is detrimental to keeping proper pool chemical balances. Guests are required to read and abide by all posted rules, safety and operating information. Under no circumstance is any guest allowed to adjust pool equipment. Failure to abide may result in guests being fined or liable for any damages to equipment.

Please note this home may be equipped with Ring, Nest or other exterior cameras viewing front door, driveways, pool equipment, and entry/exits of backyard areas only. Cameras are only intended to keep property safe and secure, monitor deliveries, assure occupancy, and are not angled into any areas where guests would assume or expect privacy.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Please review the details of our Cancellation Policy page or Terms & Conditions at booking. We encourage you to review as OUR POLICIES HAVE CHANGED as of MARCH 25, 2023. We continue to offer refunds of deposits for cancellations (for stays of 28 days or less) made greater than 60 days to arrival, however all cancellations are now subject to a non-refundable booking admin fee. We continue to offer our US Citizens guests (with exception to residents of NY and HI) the option of purchasing CSA Travel Insurance directly with us. We strongly encourage all guests to purchase Travel Insurance in the event of any unforeseen eventualities. Refunds or credits are not provided for COVID-19 related cancellations, weather or beach conditions outside of our cancellation policy. Hurricane season is June 1st – November 30th.
Manager is not responsible for providing refunds due to circumstances beyond the Manager's control like travel disruptions, guest travel restrictions, work and school scheduling changes, etc. Weather, tropical storms, hurricane threats, environmental conditions like red-tide, construction, water, or beach conditions cannot be guaranteed.
All cancellation requests must be initiated by Registered Guest through the website in which they booked and/or be in writing via email. Cancellation requests will not be accepted via phone, text, or by a member of the party other than the main Registered Guest.

Island Girl East
This was our second time staying at Island Girl. We love it! The management company has changed for the home, which is a big plus, as the new company was responsive and very easy to work with. The house is bright and spacious; nicely furnished with a welcoming feel. It has everything you need — beach towels, beach wagon, beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, and even floats & sand toys for the kids. We've stayed in a lot of VRBO's, but this one has it all… plus there’s bikes in the garage! There’s a propane grill @ the pool, with an extra tank so you won’t run out, a nice touch. The kitchen is well stocked too, with both a Keurig and a regular drip coffee maker. The kitchen and baths are modern and clean, and the king bed is super comfortable. The location is perfect, in a nice neighborhood away from traffic/noise, but still close to town shops & restaurants. The beach is a block away, a 3-minute walk. The free trolley stop is just a block away, too, we took it to Manatee Beach and the Pine Ave shops and the city pier. We rode the bikes to The Creamery for ice cream and shopped for Tshirts and said Hi to the parrots at the Sun and Surf! There’s also a cute little park across the street from the house with a lake where you can watch the sunrise. The Best part of the house is the pool area, it’s beautiful! Just very private and surrounded by palms —it felt like we were on our own Caribbean island! Comfy lounge chairs, and there’s a hammock under the trees, the best reading spot! We’d go to the beach in the morning and come back home to the pool in the afternoon…It’s a perfect place to relax and recharge. When the pool is lit up at night it’s magical! We'd walk or ride the bikes back to the beach in the evening to watch the amazing sunsets… gorgeous! Even though it's a duplex, the way it's laid out, it feels like a separate house. We had a wonderful vacation, and we’ll definitely come back to Island Girl!
